This tutorial will walk you through setting up and configuring your platforms, WMS, and EDI settings step by step. Follow along to ensure a smooth integration.
Please keep in mind, when you create an account with us, we will create a subdomain for you, such as demo.furnituremultichannel.com in this tutorial, and we will assign your admin user to your account so that you can configure your system as you want.
General Settings
In General Settings, you select active platforms, enter WMS (Fishbowl by default) settings, and EDI settings of your company.
Active Platforms
As a first step, ensure that your platform integrations are active. The supported platforms in this guide are:
- Wayfair
- Cymax
- Home Depot
- GigaCloud
WMS (Warehouse Management System) Settings
In the second step, enter your WMS Settings. Fishbowl is the default WMS for Furniture Multi Channel. These settings allow your system to communicate with the WMS.
- WMS Server:
An IP or a URL which is used to connect Fishbowl. - WMS Server Port: TCP port to connect (28192 by default)
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Settings
If you use EDI for order and shipping management, configure the following:
- ISA Qualifier:
12for phone numbers - ISA ID: A unique phone number (10 digit) for your company, without dashes or parantheses, such as
8325554433
These credentials are essential for secure data exchange between your platform and trading partners.
Wayfair Settings
In this page, you need to enter API settings for Wayfair integration.
Wayfair API Settings
To connect to Wayfair, you need to enter the following API details:
- API Client ID: (Enter your Wayfair API Client ID)
- API Client Secret: (Enter your Wayfair API Client Secret)
- API Supplier ID: (Enter your Wayfair API Supplier ID)
- API Supplier ID (WH2): (Enter your secondary Supplier ID for Wayfair, if applicable)
Shipping Information
Provide accurate shipping details to ensure smooth order fulfillment:
- Ship Address Name: (Your Shipping Address Name)
- Ship Street Name 1: (Your Primary Shipping Street Address)
- Ship Street Name 2: (Secondary Address, if applicable)
- Ship City, State, Zip, Country: (Provide your complete shipping location details)
Configuring WMS Credentials
To integrate with your warehouse system, enter your WMS login details:
- WMS Username: (Your Warehouse Management System username)
- WMS Password: (Your Warehouse Management System password)
Setting Default Customers
Assign default customer details for order processing:
- Default Customer ID: (Your Default Customer ID)
- Default Customer Name: (Your Default Customer Name)
- Canada Customer ID: (Wayfair Canada Customer ID)
- Canada Customer Name: (Wayfair Canada Customer Name)
Cymax Settings
In this page, you need to enter EDI settings for Cymax integration.
Default settings of the Cymax are as shown in the image. Cymax does not use SSH, but other check boxes must be checked.
The Home Depot
In this page, you need to enter EDI settings for The Home Depot integration.
Default settings of the The Home Depot are as shown in the image. The Home Depot uses SSH, its default FTP port is 22, and other check boxes must be checked.
Giga Cloud Settings
In this page, you need to enter FTP settings for the Giga Cloud integration. The Giga Cloud does not use EDI or API settings. It has only inventory updates over FTP.
